{ Project LIFE }

WOW! This fall has been so extremely busy for me! It has been great! I thank all of my repeat clients along with the many new families that I have had the opportunity to meet!
Between sessions, editing pictures, and working at the salon I barely have time for my own family! I am looking forward to the Christmas season relaxing and being off to spend time with my family and then jumping right back in, in the new year!

Many exciting things have happened in the last few weeks one being that I booked a wedding for June 2011!! :-)

Another one of the exciting things that I am about to begin is "project LIFE"
Let me explain this to you.....
Many of you know or will know now, that I am adopted!
I was 3 days old and God had a plan for me and boy did He ever!! When I was born my (birth mother) wanted to give me a better life and chose to give me up. I Thank her and God everyday for that selfless and I'm sure very difficult choice that she made! I have great parents and an amazing family!! I think how different my life would be today if she had kept me or even worse.....had an abortion.
Praise God that she didn't!
I know that feeling of getting pregnant and being scared! I did. I chose to get married and keep my baby and he is now 7 and in 1st grade! :) Tony and I are still married and we also have another boy and he is 4 years old! And who knows maybe one day we will even adopt?!?
Now that you know a little bit of my life, you will understand why this new project means so much to me!

A few weeks ago at Women's Bible Study a young girl from Fontabella, a local maternity home, came to speak to the group! She talked for around 10-15 minutes I would say, and about 9 of those minutes were spent with me praying for how I could help this girl! I wanted to give her maternity clothes, baby clothes, or even just talk with her. But I still felt that wasn't it. I thought what else is there and then BAM! It hit me, I wanted to take pictures for the girls.
At first it was just going to be newborn sessions, but now I am going to take maternity pictures of the girls that live in the house and some of my work will then be hanging in the home for all to see! I am so excited to be giving these girls such a gift, A gift that God has given me!! I believe that these girls deserve beautiful pictures regardless of their circumstances! This is something that they otherwise would not be able to have done and I feel so blessed to be able to give it to them! After each of the girls have their babies, I will then do a newborn session with the baby and mom and baby together. From each session the girls will receive a framed gift print from me.
I am calling this this "project LIFE" well because they chose LIFE for their baby!
I am looking forward to meeting these girls and more girls that will come there in the future! Pray that this will be a success and that I can touch these girls lives by doing this for them! Just to let them know that life does get better and that God loves them!
Thank you for taking the time to read this post. I would love to know your thoughts about this too!
